Razzle Dazzle

Don't forget to vote for me everyone!

These are some out takes from my home shoot with Kelly.

I was trying to flick my scarf and it came out looking like a shot from a horror flick.

Rogue even came out to play!

Vote!

So on a whim I've entered another competition. It's to become the face of Razzamatazz stocking company. It runs for 8 weeks and to win you have to get the most votes, which is where you guys come in. As my loyal followers I'm relying on you to put your mouses to good use and vote for me here-

I'm being optimistic at this stage- I know I'll never win but if I did how cool would that be! You can vote once an hour on all of my photos. So vote for me as many times as you can.

Promise to start writing regular blogs soon!

Beginning.

Just when you think someone's out of your life or you're just about to start hating them, they surprise you.

Uni starts back up in a few weeks and it's going to be very different having Dan back.  He's very distracting and always wanting to skip classes so I'll have to stay strong and not give into him like I used to.

I find that I'm always twitching my leg in an impatient manner lately.  Not sure why I've started this habit but I don't like it and I'm making a conscious effort to stop.

Relationships are confusing me at the moment and I always told myself I'd never be dependant or reliant on anyone.  I know I'm still the same person underneath it all but I haven't had to be on my own in so long that I'm starting to forget the beauty of it.  I'm so scared I'll regret certain decisions and as a result I'm delaying the inevitable.  I'm scared I'm not living.

This year will be interesting.

heat.

It is so incredibly hot. Too hot to attempt any kind of physical activity.

I'm currently reading Breakfast at Tiffany's.  I never knew it was such a short book.  I'm over half way through and I can't wait to finish so I can watch the movie; which I got for Christmas.  It's taking all my will power not to watch the movie before I've finished reading the book.

I am surviving on no money at the moment.  And by no money I mean absolutely no money.  Which limits what I am able to do.  Therefore most of my days as of late are spent watching movies, reading or cleaning.

I watched Terminator Salvation today.  I've loved all of the previous Terminator movies and the fourth one was no exception.  However, I don't like that the actors who play the main characters have been re-cast in the third and fourth installments.  Christian Bale was exceptional in the movie, however I am unable to empathise with his character, John Connor, who has been portrayed by various actors throughout the series.  As a result of the re-casting I've found it difficult to connect with John Connor which has resulted in a detachment of my emotions towards this character, as he has become for me; more of a character than a person.

I believe that a good movie eliminates all elements of fiction and allows the viewer to believe.  The characters are no longer creations by an author or director, but rather they become people, with identities, families, friends and lives in which every decision they make has an affect on something or someone.  Despite the inclusion of far fetched ideas within most movies, a succesful film enables the viewer to feel as though every element within a movie is plausible.  I believe this is achieved through the emotional attachment a viewer is able to develop towards a particular character.  In simple terms; the character is no longer a character but rather they become a person.  This is the single most important element of film-making and you will find this philosophy is the backbone to any good movie.

I'm very eager to watch Amelie.  I must get onto hiring it soon.

camera-less.

I know that I promised more posts but unfortunately my camera broke a few weeks ago and I'm in the process of saving for a new one.  Until then my blog will be on hiatus.  Hopefully I'll be back up and running in two or three weeks.
